I have had nothing but pleasure in working with all the artists, council staff and the community to devise this big hearted Festival.
For the first time Festival events will be staged in Sarina, the Pioneer Valley, Eton and Seaforth. Many events will be free and those which are not, have reduced ticket prices due to invaluable deep hearted support from the business and artscommunities.
I have been impressed with the skill and dedication of the local artists who once again make up the heart and soul of the Festival. They will be working alongside some of Australia’s finest artists, many of whom will be offering master classes to continue to develop the arts in this vibrant region.
The Festival would not be successful without the fantastic support of the volunteers who run the bars, look after the box office, ferry artists to and from their engagements and generally pitch in to make this a truly heartfelt experience
