The 2008 Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival features an Artists’ Exhibition of well-known authors and illustrators–Alison Lester and Leigh Hobbs, a light hearted Author Panel discussion and announcement of Short Story Competition winners.

Writers Workshop
Award winning authors of social relevance, Scot Gardner and Tara June Winch will speak about their writing styles, the treatment of real life issues in fiction and character development. ‘Writing on the Edge’ is community-based writers’ workshop suitable for aspiring and seasoned writers from senior school to adult.
